HN Precision has two facilities with over 300,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space, comprised of over 175 CNC Machines, located in Lake Bluff, Illinois and Rochester, New York. Our focus and strengths are in horizontal milling and turning, vertical milling, gun-drilling and grinding which allow us to have success in manufacturing critical precision components. Our capabilities and engineering expertise offers the designing and building of tooling and fixtures for us to be able to manufacture our components to the highest quality. This is also supported by many secondary manufacturing operations and third party outside process experience as well. The culture at HN Precision is driven from our core values as our foundation. The passion for excellence that all of our employees maintain, allow us to make the customer our top focus and priority. We work as a team at HN Precision and through our lean techniques; we are able to bring continuous improvement to our processes and organization. HN Precision originally started as four independent precision machine component manufacturing companies with four different facilities located in Illinois and New York. These four companies were General Automation, Inc. which was founded in 1935; Gillette Machine & Tool which was founded in 1947; Helio Precision Products which was founded in 1984 and Nationwide Precision Products which was founded in 1965. For the last several years, these companies have been part of the Precision Partners Holding Company (PPHC) family. In 2011, we began the process of integration with the senior leadership being common between all four companies.

HN Precision strives to be our customer's end-to-end solutions provider for comprehensive project management from design to delivery. HN engineers work closely with the customer during the prototype development process, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, cost savings and quality. Manufacturing engineers provide "design for manufacturability" improvements on initial design, where possible. In addition, our engineers design and manufacture specific tools and fixtures for the precision components.  HN works with the customer to select and source raw materials, works closely with casting factories, and monitors casting process to ensure quality and adherence to the exact customer specifications. HN engineers design machining programs and provide innovative technical solutions. We ensure that components are machined and fabricated according to exact specifications of the customer.  HN has comprehensive in-house testing and measuring equipment in climate-controlled rooms which provides a wide range of testing services for quality control. Our engineers work with the customer Engineers to ensure the parts are 100% up to customer specifications and expectations. Finally our products are delivered to the customer for assembly and delivery, allowing for "the customer branded" parts.
