Hill Billy Tubs was formed in the fall of 2011 by Rob and Rud Mason. Rob had partnered with our father at RG Mason Excavating since high school. As our dad has reached retirement we thought it would be a good idea for Rob to join Princeton Scapes which Rud has owned for 20 years. Instead we started up by buying a "hook and go" truck that will not only be utilized to help Princeton Scapes but also our fledgling Trash and demolition recycling venture.

The Hill Billy is in reference to Rob and I growing up in Princeton , our logo is a loose play on Rob. The Tubs is a reference to our purple dumpster containers. Princeton Scapes has had purple truck beds for 12 years, they are eye catching to say the least. So if you see "The Hill Billy" peering at you from the side of a purple tub you know it is our container.

We decided to get into the recycling business because we see a need to responsibly dispose of our waste. As kids our grandfather, then father owned the land and operated the town of Princeton 's landfill. We saw first hand how a little town's trash turned into a mountain.

We have partnered with Deven's Recycling Center the leaders in construction and demolition recycling technology and services. They also have a rail spur to remove all waste leftover from their state of the art recycling line.
