We are working for the future! We are aware of our responsibility to be an important part of the material cycle. We stand for an efficient and closed material cycle without wasting resources and without harming the environment. To achieve this vision, we have invested our efforts in making our entire company CO 2 neutral. We are proud to have been officially certified as a CO 2 -neutral company since 2019 .

And the journey goes on: We are constantly working on environmentally conscious innovations to gradually raise the material cycle to 100%! So that waste becomes useful materials.

Our mission

The Hermann Braig company is a regional family company with the aim of making the earth a little cleaner every day, increasing the cycle of recyclable materials and thus actively doing something against climate change. With fast, inexpensive and professional disposal solutions, we make the careful handling of important resources as easy as possible for our customers. We see waste as an important resource. By collecting, processing and properly marketing these valuable materials, we protect raw materials and thus the environment.

Our history

On May 1st , 1964 Hermann Braig founded his company as a disposal company for cardboard and paper.

He set up his office in Gerlenhofen, directly on the B19. At that time, cardboard boxes were picked up from companies with flatbed trucks and pressed into bales with a screw press.

In 1969 the first association collection of newspapers was carried out in Gerlenhofen.

In 1972 the first dispenser with a rope hoist was purchased, plus 10 containers. From this point on, garbage from commercial operations was also disposed of.

In 1979 , after the death of Hermann Braig, his wife Maria and his two daughters Gabriele and Ute continued the business.

In 1986 Ute Braig-Bendt took over management with her husband Jürgen Bendt.

In 1995 the company moved to its current location in Senden, Friedrich-List-Straße 16.

2001 Hermann Braig becomes a certified waste disposal company.

2009 Acquisition of a new PAAL Konti 275F press.

2012 Michael Bendt, grandson of the founder, joins the company.

2019 Florian Bendt, grandson of the founder, joins the company and the company becomes CO 2 neutral.
