Welcome to The Henry Perkins Company. Henry Perkins, the foundry progressed from a small workshop making cotton gin and piano plate castings to a company utilizing the most modern equipment to produce complex engineering castings. We are extremely proud of the fact that the foundry is still owned and operated by the Henry Perkins family. In the early days, The Henry Perkins foundry produced only ordinary gray iron. As industry requirements changed and the demand increased for higher strength cast components with uniform and verifiable properities, the company acquired a Meehanite license in 1939 and began a new era in the production of quality castings with consistent physical properties.
We offer a wide choice of metals ranging from soft, very machinable types to high strength ductile irons suited for general engineering, heat, wear and corrosion resisting applications. Whether you need one casting or a thousand parts…. from 1 to 4,000 pounds, we can help in the design, pattern making, metal selection, casting, heat treating and machining.
