More than 75 years of Kriete road construction

The company Kriete Straßenbau was founded in 1933 by the company founder Drewes Kriete in Ostereistedt and has come a long and successful path since then. After the death of the company founder in 1954, the company was temporarily continued on its own under the direction of his wife Anna and her sister Minna. Anna Kriete received support in the following years from her son Drewes Kriete, until the second son Heinrich Kriete joined the company management after successfully completing his road construction apprenticeship. From then on, both brothers led the company in times of the economic miracle through committed work and were able to establish the company in regional road construction. After Heinrich Kriete passed the master craftsman's examination for road construction in 1965, He took over the company in 1974 and relocated the company headquarters to Seedorf. Since 1997 his son, the road builder Drewes Kriete, has also joined the company management. The company is already in the 3rd generation and has developed over the past 75 years from a simple stone setting business with continuous and healthy growth to a sought-after business partner for technically high-quality road construction.

In the constant search for new business ideas as well as the constant innovative further development of the company, the Kriete group of companies with a wide range of activities has emerged from the original road construction company. Today the company consists of the main business fields of road construction, culture and landscaping, raw materials trading and cold recycling. The group of companies is mainly active in the Elbe-Weser triangle and can fall back on a high level of technical know-how with well-trained employees. As a training company in the handicrafts, we continuously provide for technically competent young people, regular training measures for employees round off the high quality level of the company.
