Harry Rode GmbH is a medium-sized civil engineering company of the Tholl family, which is managed by Bernhard Tholl and his son Thomas.

In 1992 the company Harry Rode of the company founder of the same name was bought by Bernhard Tholl. In the years that followed, civil engineering was expanded significantly. Three years later, the company expanded its range of services to include winter service, with which we have been helping you to clear ice and snow from parking spaces and access roads to houses and shops.

In 1998 the former missile station in Wachendorf was purchased, which has since been the company's headquarters.

Here the original business purpose of a freight forwarding and sand trading company developed into a civil engineering company ( bulk goods , sand pits, earthworks , building rubble acceptance , the sale of recycled gravel , the construction and maintenance of small sewage treatment plants and pressure drainage as well as winter service).

Since the year 2000, the company's activities have been supplemented by a further business area with the generation of electricity from renewable energies (wind and photovoltaics).

In 2013 we also founded an agricultural area which is used to manage our own agricultural land. To this end, we raise sheep and cows of extinct breeds. These include herdbook sheep of the Coburg fox sheep breed and herdbook cattle of the German Black and White Low Cattle. .
