The foundation stone for the Buchner company was laid in 1972. The company owners at that time were Hermann and Hermine Buchner. The company was based on importing cars from Switzerland to Austria and then selling them with us.

One still remembers the large truck trains that made the business with used and damaged vehicles flourish. Hermann Buchner developed a good nose for this business.

The basis for today's company was laid back then.

The quiet 80s

In the eighties, the sale of used and new spare parts was also a part of the Buchner's strategy, but not yet that important. Then there was also the towing service, which is still an important part of our company today.

The upheaval

In 1993/94 Hermann Buchner handed over the motor vehicle business to his son Harald. After some time he realized that the Buchner car dealership had to find a new way, because the great days of car sales were over for the time being. The used and new spare parts trade was certainly not a bad pillar, but only from that one can no longer live today. ​

Thus, Harald Buchner joined the car recycling agreement and transformed the company into a very environmentally conscious one over the last few years. With the fulfillment of all legal requirements, he entered a new future as a car recycling company. ​

In 1998 a contract was signed with Messer Austria GmbH from Herzogenburg. Since then, a wide variety of technical gases from this partner have also been sold. ​

At the beginning of 2010, the Buchner company entered into a new partnership. With Hermes Logistik GmbH . Now customers can also submit packages that are gladly accepted and sent. In the last 30 years, the Buchner car dealership has earned a good and reputable name and we continue to work to be a competent partner for our customers.
