History

The company was founded with modest means in 1962 by Dieter Hampe, our current senior boss, in the Roringen district of Göttingen. The main focus of activity was on the classic scrap and metal trade. At the beginning of the eighties it became apparent that the capacities at this location were exhausted. 

After completing his training, the junior, Andreas Hampe, joined his father's company in 1983. In 1984 the company moved into the new company premises in the Göttingen industrial area with a lot of commitment and a high level of risk exposure. 

There was - and is - enough space for the extensive expansion efforts. The range of activities was gradually expanded and over the years the company developed into a high-performance competence center for waste disposal services. Hampe Recycling GmbH counteracts the tendency towards concentration in the waste disposal market with absolute reliability and great commitment. 

The customer experiences this efficiency primarily through competent advice and prompt service in everyday business. Approvals, verification, qualification and integrity are verifiable cornerstones. 

In addition to the presentation of the approval matrix, certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001 as well as the waste management company regulation proves that the activities and working methods of our company by independent Dekra engineers demonstrably meet or exceed the contemporary and legal standard. The annual reviews positively reflect the sustainability of our activities. For example, the successful audits of several automobile manufacturers, whose contractual partners we are in the context of vehicle recycling. The external implementation of the corporate philosophy and our implementation as their contractual partner are always successfully compared. 

In this way we always make sure that we are on the right track; for the benefit of the customer. We are always happy to receive suggestions and suggestions for improvement. In short: We are very interested in the customer's opinion. This helps us to optimize disposal processes or to develop and implement new innovative ideas.
