Grond Recyclage Centrum NV is a pioneer and the Belgian market leader in soil cleaning for over 20 years. GRC currently has offices in Kallo and Heusden-Zolder.

1993:  Start biological soil Kallo
1995: start physicochemical soil remediation Kallo
in 1999:  creation of a TOP (intermediate storage), Kallo
2003:  site in Kallo is licensed for thermal remediation
2006:  Start soil recycling center and TOP Zeebrugge
2008  start soil recycling center and TOP in Heusden-Zolder
2009 : installation of new wind turbine with a capacity of 2.3 MW
2013 : the site in Kallo is re- licensed for the next 20 years

2015 : start of physico-chemical soil remediation plant  in Heusden-Zolder

Operation

Before delivery, a binding price quotation for cleaning is drawn up based on the information you provide.

The transports only need to be accompanied with a transport document. This is provided to you by GRC.

Since the removal of batches to a recycling center falls under the Vlarema or Vlarebo regulations, you do not need to fill in or prepare any further papers.

After acceptance of the batch, it becomes the property of GRC. The entire cleaning process (including the administration and disposal of the cleaned flows) is then further organized by GRC.

Sampling

If no samples can be taken at the origin or if urgent action is required, it is possible to temporarily store the consignment on our premises. The taking and analysis of the samples is then done by our care. After the analysis, it is evaluated whether and at what price the raw material or waste can be cleaned. If cleaning is not possible, GRC will look for another processing method in consultation with the customer.
