Greenscape Irrigation has been serving the Calgary and Area community for over twenty years. We have specialized in underground sprinkler systems, fountains and lighting. Greenscape was started as summer employment for two young students to help pay for college. Since those early years the company has grown many times over always keeping the customer first. This level of satisfaction has allowed the company to grow with a great reputation. From the first houses done in the late 80's to the most recently completed residences, from the first commercial job to gas stations, warehouses and city parks, Greenscape has been a leader in quality and service. The company now employs seven experienced individuals during the summer months who work hard to maintain the company philosophy of quality workmanship and customer service.

SPRINKLERS

Underground Sprinkler Systems give you the freedom to relax and enjoy your yard without having to haul around a cumbersome hose and sprinkler to maintain its beauty.  Underground sprinklers save water by applying an even distribution of water over a minimum timeframe thus saving you water and money.  Conventional hoses and sprinklers use an average of  50% more water to irrigate the same areas. 

Sprinkler systems are made up of three components:

• Controller - automatic watering features let you water while your away or asleep and  rain sensors prevent watering while wet conditions are prevelant.
• Valves - regulate water flow to the sprinklers and are controlled by the controller.
• Sprinklers - apply water at a constant even rate.

LIGHTING

Lighting serves three major functions, security, visual (pathway lighting) and beauty (landscape lighting). The latter being the most popular as it serves to encompass all major functions according to design.

Lighting is 12 volt which makes it less expensive to install and far safer than conventional 120 volt lighting. Lighting is controlled by a controller which can be preset to turn on and off at specific times as well as photo cells that will only turn lights on when it starts to get dark. Motion sensors can also be added to systems for added security. Spend more time enjoying the beauty of your landscaping well into the night.
