Green's Propane Gas Co. Inc. was established in December of 1962 in Smiths Station, Alabama. Calvin Green delivered the propane gas off a well used 1957 Chevy bobtail while his wife Billie kept the books from a desk in the dining room of their home. Along the way they raised a son Hershal who joined the family business and had two sons of his own Mike and Bill whom operates the business today. From that small desk and truck came the humble beginnings of our family business. Our community has changed over the years, however our mission has remained the same; to provide our customers with the safest, most dependable and efficient propane service available.
