History of the company

Green Metal Czech sro was established on 16 February 2004 as a joint venture between two internationally renowned companies, Toyota Tsusho Europe SA and Toyota Tsusho Corporation .

Plant constructionThe company is privately owned with a share of 60:40 between the two members. With the establishment of the new Toyota Peugeot Citroen Automobile Group production plant in Cologne and the conclusion of a waste management service agreement with this company and other scrap metal producers, it was decided to build a new hall for the processing and sorting of scrap metal.

To many years of experience of international sister companies, Green Metal Czech sro combines foreign experience and knowledge of the conditions of the Czech market.

The construction of the Cologne plant of Toyota Tsusho Kolín service center and Green Metal Czech sro was started at the end of 2004. Already at the beginning of 2005, an order for trial operation was granted. The complex is located in the Ovčáry industrial zone on the northern side of the TPCA sro production plant. The total area of ​​the complex is 37000 m2, the built-up area is 8300 m2.
