Great Plains Equipment Rental got its start in August 2014 with nothing more than two used Bobcat skid steers, a truck to haul’em with, and a trailer to put’em on. Early on, we stuck with skid steers, but after the first year or so we began renting a variety of equipment including things like: mini excavators, dump trailers, and towable boom lifts. Here lately, in the last two years or so, we’ve been able to add even larger pieces of equipment to our rental inventory, such as telehandlers (from 5.5k, 19’ footers all the way up to 10k, 56’ footers), warehouse forklifts (6ks), and powered boom lifts (60’ footers to 85’ footers). Somewhere in the middle there we were also able to add almost everything in between, including a pretty substantial variety of tools (concrete saws and jackhammers, etc.).

We’ve been fortunate to be able to grow very quickly over the last few years for a few reasons. First and foremost, we have outstanding people involved in the day to day operations of the company. Secondly, we genuinely focus on treating customers fairly and with great respect. Lastly, we continually ensure our prices are the best, or very nearly the best available in the equipment rental marketplace.
