GBI was founded in 2006 by seasoned industry veterans Scott Kent and Jeff Murray.  They shared a simple but powerful vision to deliver high-quality products and service for customers’  plate steel construction needs.  Their combined expertise was instrumental in gaining repeat customer business which fueled rapid company growth. The company purchased a fabrication facility in 2010, and completed major plant expansions in 2014. 

In response to customer demand GBI developed additional service solutions to include maintenance & repair, instrumentation & electrical, structural, mechanical, piping, scaffolding, railroad maintenance, industrial coatings and plant commissioning.  GBI is now a trusted provider of turnkey industrial construction and repair services to leading customers across a variety of industries.
