Founded in 1979, Gentlemen Sheet Metal has detailed (CAD Drafting), fabricated and installed sheet metal work that is representative of every facet of the sheet metal industry.

Gentlemen Sheet Metal provides HVAC, as well as general sheet metal services throughout the New York Metro Area. We are an approved contractor for The Trump Organization, Rudin Management, The New Water Street Corp, CBRE, Verizon and many other prestigious companies.

Our work is in some of the highest profile buildings in the New York City. The JFK International Arrivals Building, NYC Department of Transportation Headquarters, The FDNY New Training Center (Randall’s Island). Polo Ralph Lauren, The New Giorgio Armani Store-717 5th Ave, and numerous Gap, Banana Republic and Old Navy Stores are a few corporations who have entrusted their projects to Gentlemen Sheet Metal.

Our family owned businesswas established in 1979 when Mr. Dennis Appel, a local #28 shop foreman with extensive experience in fabrication, and Mr. James Murray, a respected draftsman combined their knowledge and experience to form Gentlemen Sheet Metal.

Their dedication to quality workmanship and excellent customer service resulted in the rapid growth of their business. Dennis and James have since retired and the traditions that have established Gentlemen Sheet Metal as a vibrant and viable organization are now continued by Dennis’ two sons Dennis M. Appel, a local 28 field installation foreman with over 25 years experience, and Paul J Appel, a BBA graduate of Hofstra University who has been with the company since 1987, have assumed the operation of Gentlemen Sheet Metal.

Dennis’ expertise in field installation establishes him as a manager who can deliver a quality job on schedule. Paul’s background in Business Management furnished Gentlemen Sheet Metal with competent fiscal guidance that has enabled this company to deliver high quality service at competitive prices. Our shop fabrication is supervised by, Stephen Kristian who has been with Gentlemen since 1979.

The Drafting Department is headed by, Larry Pearson whose knowledge of HVAC systems has been an asset to Gentlemen since 1981.
