General Sheet Metal (GSM) was founded in 1932 and in headquartered in Clackamas, Oregon. For more than 80 years, GSM has been meeting the needs of a wide spectrum of clients who seek quality, value and innovative solutions on their projects.

GSM continues to evolve and expand its offerings and core capabilities in Mechanical, Architectural, Fabrication and HVAC related Services and we are recognized as a reliable and dependable source and leader in our industry. We routinely work with a variety of materials… fiberglass, plastic, brass, aluminum, composites, steel, galvanized, stainless steel and coated materials.

Our dedicated team is ready to respond and assist our clients with the needs and requirements of their projects, from preconstruction through completion and commissioning to ongoing service and maintenance.

Our extensive preconstruction / IPD/ Collaboration and Design-Assist /Design-Build capabilities coupled with our in-house budgeting / CAD / BIM and creative resources, gives us an unique appreciation and understanding of the requirements of your project.

Mechanically GSM offers everything from traditional HVAC installations to closely controlled ventilation systems for Semi-conductor and medical facilities, as well as commercial and industrial exhaust/ventilation systems to meet environmental control needs. Architecturally we can offer complete building envelope solutions and fabrication of ACM composite panel systems, copings, flashings and specialty fabrication.
