The history of the Klarwein company

1912

Foundation of a haulage company with horse and cart by Mr. Blasius Schneider.

1918

Takeover of the business by Jakob Klarwein, conversion from horse power to motor power.

1948

After a long captivity, his son Karl Klarwein began to rebuild the haulage company in post-war Germany.

1968

Karl Heinz Klarwein joins the company. approx. 5 employees.

1972

Development of the first truck with rear loading crane by FXMeiller Kipper Munich in cooperation with Karl Heinz Klarwein. Klarwein had the first vehicle in Munich which could load itself, both towing vehicle and trailer.

1973

Acquisition of the first wheel loader and venture into new work areas. From now on, the overall handling of earthworks construction sites is the main business. about 10 employees.

1982

Another milestone in the company's history is the founding of Gebr. Klarwein GmbH by Karl Heinz Klarwein.

1991

Many major projects, including what was then the deepest construction pit in Munich with up to 34 meters, for Münchner Rück Versicherung on Leopoldstrasse. about 30 employees.

2003

Opening of the gravel pit and the new premises in Weßling / Oberpfaffenhofen. 2006 Entry of the two sons of Karl Heinz Klarwein, Christian and Andreas. The gravel pit operation is being expanded. approx. 40 employees. 2007 Start of building rubble recycling on our premises.

2009

Opening of the Oberpfaffenhofen earthworks, production of certified substrates for roads and gala construction.

2012

100 years of clear wine. Start of training for young construction machinery operators in our company. approx. 50 employees.

The daughter Karin joins the company and should make a significant contribution to its success in the future.

2016

Acquisition of the 1st long front excavator Volvo EC 380 HD. Departure into a new area, the demolition up to a height of 21m.

2017

Christian and Andreas Klarwein are appointed managing directors. today Through constant further development and the acquisition of modern equipment, we are today your strong partner in construction with our more than 80 employees!
