Our family business was founded in the 1920s. Almost 100 years ago, Fritz Ganz registered the trade in scrap iron, metals, fur and textile and paper raw materials as a trade. As a sole proprietorship and on the move with a horse and cart, “Ganz Fritz” lived from small businesses and private customers in the near and far. Years later the "2PS - team" was replaced by a truck with a flatbed. This expanded the radius of action considerably. In the 1930s his son, Emil Ganz, joined the trading company. As a result, more new customers were won and the company continued to develop.

From 1947 the company experienced a rapid upswing. The company now operated under the name "Emil Ganz" as a sole proprietorship. It continued to develop successfully during this period of economic awakening. Thanks to the extensive range of services, major customers have now also been won.

In the 1960s, the next generation, the sons Werner Ganz and a little later Siegfried Ganz, joined the company. The cross-generational success story was continued and the steadily growing company had to invest in new technical equipment, trucks and new employees. The healthy company was continued in the 80s by both brothers alone, as the senior withdrew from the company. With this, the company was developed into an excellently positioned waste management company. The Emil Ganz company became "Ganz Rohstoffe GmbH". The older brother Werner Ganz left the company in 2008. The 4th generation, Carsten Ganz, has been actively working with us for many years and, together with Andrea Ganz, his wife and today's senior,
