Safety issues are always considered first in a project and our goal is always to identify and eliminate risk of injury to the client’s employees, his customers, contractors and/or Galletta engineering staff.  To this end, our management and design staff attends to safety training on a regular basis.

Constructability issues are addressed in the early phases of a project and are continually evaluated. Where such issues exist, recognition and evaluation of options to minimize contractors' difficulties implementing plans is critical to schedule and cost. Our engineers work within limitations imposed by codes, site restrictions and other constraints.

At Galletta we provide a wide range of engineering services to our clients. They include developing studies, managing environmental, energy audits, and performing forensic analyses.  We use finite element analysis programs (ANSYS, STAAD, ALGOR and PipePak) providing solutions to complex product or process design problems facing our clients.  Galletta Engineering provides installation and construction engineering as well as construction management services allowing our clients a single source for capital improvement projects. Founded June 5, 1955, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by Nunzio Galletta. In November of '55 he was joined by Felix Bombara, quickly proceeded in January of '56 by John Amuso. Mr. Ray Buehler joined Galletta in 1963 and became a partner in 1965.

After 52 years of business Nunzio Galletta and Felix Bombara transferred ownership of the company to a team of dedicated managers from within the company.  On January 1, 2008 our new ownership team of Bernard Bombara, Mike Milligan, Chester Wawrzonek and Dan Smith took their positions at the helm in a seamless transition.
