Fremont Gold is named after the famous American explorer John Fremont, whose overland expeditions helped to open up the American West for settlers.
Since going public in 2017, Fremont’s mine-finding management team has assembled a portfolio of high-quality gold projects in Nevada. Our goal is to leverage the collective experience of our management team to make a new discovery in the world's best mining jurisdiction. Fremont’s property portfolio is comprised of both advanced-stage and early-stage gold projects. Fremont’s advanced-stage gold projects include Griffon, a past producing gold mine located at the southern end of the Cortez Trend, Cobb Creek, which hosts a historical resource, and Hurricane, where past operators intersected near-surface gold mineralization in a number of drill holes. Fremont’s early-stage gold projects include Goldrun and North Carlin. Fremont is particularly excited by North Carlin, located at the northern end of the Carlin Trend, where several drill targets have been outlined.
