Our team has extensive and proven experience in developing award-winning products, led by industry-renowned chemist Douglas Mason, M.Sc., Organic Chemistry.

Our custom chemistries have led to many innovations in degassing and decontamination, pipeline cleaning, tank cleaning, bioremediation, and more. FQE™ Pyrophoric, which is designed to control the combustion of iron sulphide deposits, exemplifies this innovation. Current industry practices include destroying iron deposits with hazardous chemicals. These methods are slow, costly, and remove the iron scale that acts as a protective layer, inhibiting further metal corrosion. Our solution is water-based and prevents oxidation by blocking the sulphide reaction sites immediately upon contact and keeping the valuable iron scale intact.

FQE™ Solvent-H functions to dissolve asphaltenes in storage tanks and process equipment. While many products can dissolve the asphaltene, FQE Solvent-H prevents asphaltenes from re-precipitation, eliminating a disposal cost, and the dissolved liquids become a recovered hydrocarbon source that can be reintroduced into the refining process.
