Food Forest Collective upcycles vehicles, RVs, motorcycles, trailers and other used items to support Sedona Greenhouse Project in our collective vision. SEDONA GREENHOUSE PROJECT focuses their efforts to rally large groups of gardeners to grow nourishing food in Sedona, and surrounding areas, for food sustainability and native-plant education. Our goal is to leave a legacy of food sovereignty for generations to come while upcycling old items for less waste and greater nourishment.

CHALLENGES WE FACE

Our community lacks access and knowledge of growing clean nutritionally dense foods.

People have unwanted items they don’t use or need and they have value to others

People can’t afford or don’t want to spend money on overpriced new items

Humanity is currently dependent on transnational monopolies for food and other resources

Rapidly increasing carbon footprint and excess waste materials due to unsustainable practices

SOLUTUIONS WE OFFER

Short Term Goals: Upcycle unwanted items and offer to people in need to generate revenue for cultivating more community gardens, food forests as well as connect community and property owners in order to develop land for continuous food production and other sustainable endeavors.

Long Term Goals: Build a conservatory-sized greenhouse (bio-dome) to be used as a hub for education, offering resources and tools needed for growing in your backyard as well as create access to locally sourced food and plant medicines through public food forests, gardens and apothecary. Offer an open source business model for our upcycle center as we as consulting to help you get started and operate. We envision a community network of likeminded organizations supporting each other to create a planet thriving in abundance and cooperation.
