History

1909

The history of the LAUTARD family begins in recovery in the Paris region….

Joseph LAUTARD, who came from Aveyron, settled in Montreuil and began recycling scrap metal with a horse and a cart, in the Paris region. He unsolders cans to collect tin and make small ingots!

1920

At the end of the 1914-1918 war, François LAUTARD, after having worked with Joseph LAUTARD, created a site in Aubervilliers, specializing in the recycling of non-ferrous metals.

1953

Roger LAUTARD creates Société Lautard SA in Bobigny, transferred in 1983 to Drancy, which he will manage and develop until 1996 with his sons.

1997

François and Maxime LAUTARD create the FML Company in Paris.

After a century, and still driven by the same passion, François and Maxime Lautard are continuing the family work by imagining a new concept of recovery: developing our know-how and business expertise with industrialists and our foundry and steelmaker customers, and join forces with regional partners to entrust them with the logistics and storage of scrap metal in France.

With this unique operating method, François and Maxime LAUTARD combine the strength of a national group and the responsiveness of an SME while preserving the fundamental values of their Aveyron origins: respect for people, authenticity and the will to undertake.
