Flexpak Transparant Verpakkingsindustrie BV was founded in 1977. In a small space at a contracting company, a four-color printing press with a cutting section and a bagging machine started producing printed discs and bags for the biscuit and confectionery industry. The company quickly grew and activities took on greater proportions.

In 1981 Flexpak BV moved to larger premises and in the following years investments were made in bagging machines, cutting machines, four-color printing presses and six-color printing presses. Production no longer consisted only of roundels and bags , an important development was that the printed film was now also supplied to the customer in rolls.

Flexpak BV grew enormously and the current building soon turned out to be too small for Flexpak BV and in 1983 a large extension was realized. In the late 1980s, production was expanded with a laminating machine . This important innovation has grown into one of Flexpak BV's specialties. In 1995, the construction of a new industrial building with offices was started. This was put into operation in 1997. Flexpak BV continued to develop and in 1999 the production of block bottom bags was started .

As of May 1, 2016 Flexpak BV has joined the Oerlemans Packaging Group .

The market consists of business to business markets for food, non-food, packaging industry, wholesale, retail and horticulture supply, worldwide. Our technology is production and trade in plastic flexible foils and packaging.

Sustainable production is therefore of paramount importance. Environmental plans are drawn up annually. We are also a participant in the LTA3 covenant , which obliges us to reduce energy consumption.

As Flexpak BV sells more and more of its products to the food industry, its customers must be able to fully trust that everything possible is done that the products are produced under one hundred percent consumer-safe conditions , whereby at least the legal provisions in this regard are complied with.
