Five Star Metals, Inc. was founded in Houston, Texas in 1985. This family owned business has grown from its humble beginnings of two fold out tables with metal fold out chairs and two principals into a full service metal distribution center.

Initially, the Company concentrated on brokerage of forged and cast products. While the Company maintains some inventory of such products and frequently acts as a broker, the main focus of the Company has shifted to round and square bar stock.

Recently, Five Star completed construction and moved into its own facility, which has over 60,000 square feet of warehouse space under roof and plenty of room for expansion. The Company operates a fleet of four trucks and three HEM saws. The Company constantly has an eye toward growth to better serve our clients in the future. Five Star continues to strive to provide top quality product and excellent customer service at reasonable prices.

Five Star Metals has worldwide distribution capabilities. For customers in Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma, depending on location and quantities, Five Star may be able to ship your product to you via one of our own trucks for little or no freight cost.
