In 2011, Fission Energy was named a TSX Venture 50 Company and in 2013 Mr. Randhawa was named Finance Monthly’s “Dealmaker of the Yearâ€Å¥, while also being co-awarded, along with Ross McElroy, as The Northern Miner’s 2013 “Mining Persons of the Yearâ€Å¥. Ross McElroy was also the recipient of the Prospector and Developer’s Association’s (“PDACâ€Å¥) prestigious Bill Dennis Award in 2013, in recognition of the PLS discovery as a significant mineral discovery in Canada.Exploration is ongoing at the PLS uranium discovery, which continues to develop as a high-grade, shallow depth uranium deposit.
