FISCHER Weilheim relies on the heavy-duty rubber suspension ULTIMAAX® from Hendrickson, a new type of component on the German market. In the truck workshop in the ServiceCenter, a TGS 35.460 tipper from MAN was converted to the 26-ton ULTIMAAX® variant. With this weight variant of the ULTIMAAX®, the chassis weighs up to 250 kilograms less than conventional chassis and is designed for continuous axle loads of up to 29 tons.

ULTIMAAX ^® was specially developed for heavily used vehicles such as dump trucks and concrete vehicles. The chassis is extremely robust, durable and provides optimal mobility even under load. The sophisticated design of the system guarantees a high level of driving comfort, both when empty and when loaded. Remarkable: The stability increases with increasing load. The high roll stability also improves driving comfort when cornering.

We are pleased about this technical addition to the FISCHER fleet and its contribution to increased productivity and efficiency. Because: with the chassis from Hendrickson, the newly converted tipper is overload-tolerant. This leads to a higher productivity of the vehicle in use on the construction site. In terms of efficiency, ULTIMAAX ^® promises zero maintenance and thus lower life cycle costs of the respective vehicle. In addition, leaf spring breaks can no longer occur and no stabilizer is required. We are looking forward to the experience of our drivers with the new chassis system.

Interesting for the future: The FISCHER ServiceCenter, with its brand-neutral truck workshop, which, in addition to the latest technical equipment, has a highly qualified team, is optimally equipped to be able to offer retrofits to ULTIMAAX ^{® in the} future . This adds an important service in the field of retrofitting to the portfolio of the truck workshop, which already extends from repairs and wheel alignment to legally required inspections.
