FINANCIAL RECYCLING S.A. is an authorized economic operator based on license no. 4 of May 2019 issued by the Ministry of the Environment in accordance with Ministerial Order no. 1.362/2018 which aims to develop partnerships with the economic operators mentioned in art. 16 (1) of Law 249:

ART. 16 (1) Economic operators are responsible for taking over and valorizing packaging/packaging waste from consumers/end users as follows:

a) economic operators who introduce packaged products on the national market, economic operators who import/purchase intra-community packaged products for their own use/consumption are responsible for the waste generated by the primary, secondary and tertiary packaging used to package their products, with the exception of sales packaging that they are used for packaging, at the point of sale, the products;

b) economic operators who overpackage individually packaged products for resale/redistribution are responsible for the waste generated by the secondary and tertiary packaging they introduce on the national market;

c) economic operators who introduce retail packaging on the national market, including plastic transport bags, are responsible for the waste generated by said packaging;

d) economic operators who rent out packaging, in any form, with a professional title, are responsible for the said packaging.and who opts for the realization of the respective responsibilities in accordance with art. 16 (5)

b) through an organization that implements the obligations regarding the extended liability of the producer, authorized by the commission established according to Law no. 211/2011, with subsequent amendments and additions, hereinafter referred to as the Commission, by type of material and by type of packaging, primary, secondary and for transport.
