FERALAM TC LM SRL is authorized for the collection, transport and storage of ferrous and non-ferrous recyclable waste . Ferrous and non-ferrous waste are collected from the population and economic agents where they are brought to our center in order to sort and valorize them. The transport of ferrous and non-ferrous waste is carried out with modern trucks that comply with hygiene and safety standards on public roads.

Metal packaging is of two categories: aluminum packaging and steel packaging. Aluminum is the most recycled waste, it can be recycled endlessly without losing its qualities. Steel, like aluminum, can be recycled without losing its qualities. With the energy required to obtain a new steel box, 4 recycled steel boxes can be manufactured.

Most of the aluminum packaging is aluminum cans for drinks. Other aluminum products that can be recycled are clean aluminum foil, clean cookie sheets, removable components from kitchen equipment or furniture. From aluminum beverage containers (aluminum cans) new products are made with the same destination and with an incomparably lower energy consumption.

By recycling metal packaging, we mainly save the energy needed to produce these metals directly from ores. Ex: aluminum waste - 92%, copper waste - 90%, ferrous waste - 56%.
