HISTORY

Founded in June 1967 by Maurice Lajoie, the company started in a modest place located in the back yard of its residence on the Côte Bédard. A few years later, Achille Côté joined the company as a partner.

In 1981, the company incorporated and moved to a brand new premises located at 670 avenue Notre-Dame in Charlesbourg (today 20670 Henri-Bourassa blvd). This new stage is linked to the arrival of a 3 e associated Alain Lajoie. The company is now equipped to carry out large-scale projects.

In 1992, Denise Beaulieu Lajoie, Alain Lajoie's spouse, joined the company to take over the administrative side of the company. It was in 1997 that the factory was enlarged in order to obtain more space to work.

At the turn of the year 2000, Maurice Lajoie and Achille Côté decided to retire. Alain Lajoie buys the shares of his partners and becomes the majority shareholder of the company. He then set in motion his project to equip the company with cutting-edge equipment in order to always better meet the needs of its customers. Since then, Alain Lajoie has been president of the company, Denise Beaulieu Lajoie has been in charge of administration and Steve Lessard has held the position of factory foreman.
