As a graduate of New York’s Gemological Institute of America, Faye Kim began her training in New York City’s jewelry district. Before embarking on her career as a designer and goldsmith, Ms. Kim worked at Tiffany & Company specializing in pearls and then as a buyer of fine jewelry for Bergdorf Goodman. Faye’s extensive knowledge of fine jewelry and gemstones, combined with her training and work experience has enabled her to create a jewelry collection that allows each woman to develop their unique individual style.

Faye’s handcrafted one-of-a-kind pieces have been captivating her clients for over a decade. Using hand built models and the lost-wax casting method, Faye offers her designs in a variety of precious metals. She is known for her meticulous signature granulation motif and most enjoys working in 22-karat gold because of its pliability and warm color. The granulation detail is based on an ancient decorative technique whereby tiny spheres of gold are fused to a surface without the use of solder. Each piece is then polished to a matte luster to further enhance the natural glow of the precious metal and its accompanying gemstone.

Faye Kim’s collection is versatile as well as extensive. From her intricate gold woven bracelets to hand wrapped gold, pearl and gemstone chains, each piece tells a story and combines beautifully with the Faye Kim signature Romanesque rings, earrings, and bracelets.
