Fat Cat Fabrication opened its doors in 2006 after owner and operator Chad Ernst noticed a need for a precision metal fabrication / machining shop in the Atlanta area. Chad took his 16 years of welding and machinery experience and opened at 1,500 sq. ft. shop based out of Gainesville, Georgia.

Within three months of opening, business at Fat Cat Fabrication took off and has been growing ever since. Today, Fat Cat Fabrication operates out of a 5,500 sq. ft. shop just blocks from its original location and features a team of dedicated individuals. Fat Cat Fabrication specializes in welding and machining all metals including aluminum, stainless, titanium, Inconel, and more.
