Extrunorte-Unipessoal Lda was founded in 2016 by the sole and current partner - Rafael Sousa, after 20 years of experience in a previous company also created by him and managed as a partnership, which was dedicated to the manufacture of flexible packaging mainly for the food and textile industries. and pharmacist. Extrunorte thus fulfilled the entrepreneur's desire to embrace new projects and objectives, with a policy of greater proximity to employees, customers and suppliers and the community in general; He always wanted greater self-control, more capable time and resource management, creating the company with the essence of family character and honesty that has always characterized him. Its main activity is the production of flexible packaging, with and without printing, using virgin and recycled raw materials. The company has a very varied range of products – from 100% virgin to 100% recycled products. This diversity allows us to cover all the needs of our customers, which positions us in the national and Spanish market.

During the pandemic, Extrunorte covered a niche market with the development and production of Personal Protective Equipment and, in this phase, in addition to the remaining production, the level of work increased significantly. The response time in delivering the final product began to be greater than what had always enabled the company to be the most efficient: the best product in a short space of time.
