Eurowaste NV was founded by Wilfried Verhaegen, who now has more than 25 years of experience in waste management. Wilfried was co-founder of Biffa Belgium, now Veolia, and was a member of the Board of Directors for several years. As a chemical engineer, Wilfried has a passion for chemistry and he has further developed this passion in the waste industry.

Wilfried is very active in developing and maintaining customer relationships and in the search for new processing opportunities to better meet customer needs.

Eurowaste NV is a recognized trader and broker of chemical and industrial waste. Eurowaste is one of the most important players in Europe.

In addition to processing and transporting chemical waste, we also take care of the entire administrative handling that goes with this.

Eurowaste NV has an extensive network of waste treatment centers and laboratories, and maintains good relationships with various authorities. We guide our customers through the tangle of waste legislation that applies in Flanders, Brussels, Wallonia and Europe and always try to find the best solution in terms of recycling, processing and transport.

ACTIVITIES

After a thorough evaluation of the specific waste flows, Eurowaste NV looks for the most suitable application for the relevant flows, taking into account the wishes of the customer. Eurowaste NV also takes responsibility for all logistical procedures regarding the transport of waste from producer to processor.

CROSS-BORDER WASTE TRANSPORT

In the case of cross-border waste transport, the necessary procedures are initiated towards the relevant authorities, ensuring that each shipment takes place in accordance with the EVOA directive (European Regulation for the Shipment of Waste).
