OUR HISTORY

Eurofed srl was born in 1984 from the meeting of two already established companies, Fausto Marzorati's Euroresine Snc and the Dutch Federal By-product. The desire is to join forces and become a leader in the market for the collection of expanded polyurethane scraps destined for the US market. Euroresine Snc, already operating in the expanded polyurethane market since the early 70s, brings its experience and knowledge of the Italian market, the Dutchman operates on the European market and can count on the support of its American parent company Federal International Inc. for the marketing of the final product. The American market guarantees continuous demand for decades, linked to a constantly growing construction market. In the 90s, with the delocalisation of some large Italian transformers, a slow process began for Eurofed srl which would allow it to operate directly throughout Europe. In 2007 the company found itself facing another turning point. The collapse of subprime mortgages and consequently of the American housing market marks the fall in American demand. The company needs to find new market outlets, and it is in the Middle Eastern area that important new market shares are acquired. Here the polyurethane residues are used for the production of expanded agglomerate, for the subsequent production of upholstered furniture, mattresses and prayer mats. In 2017 the collaboration with the Federal International Inc. group ends. The company shares are acquired entirely by the Marzorati family and the company becomes completely Italian. To date, Eurofed srl represents a point of reference in its sector, operating in import and export in more than forty countries around the world.

WHO WE ARE

Eurofed srl operates in the market of expanded polyurethane residues in Italy and Europe, exporting them to the rest of the world. The expanded polyurethane scraps are used for the production of agglomerate blocks, then used for various end markets: construction, upholstered furniture, mattresses, automotive.
