Era Environmental Technologies was established in 1999 with the aim of finding suitable solutions to these problems with the right technology, as a result of many environmental problems arising with the developing technology and rapidly increasing industrialization.
Since this date, it has acted by considering the environment and human health with the researches it has carried out, the projects it has developed and the facilities it has established, and has aimed to be a leader in this field.
The company, which started R&D studies on 'Sterilization of Medical Wastes' in 2003, brought autoclave sterilization technology to Turkey by collaborating with the world's largest autoclave sterilization system manufacturer, after meeting with many international companies working in this field and comparing different technologies.
Era Environmental Technologies in Turkey; It is the leading service provider in its sector with Medical Waste Sterilization facilities operating in Bursa, Sakarya, Kastamonu, Sivas and Kütahya. He is also the founder of Istanbul, Gaziantep and Elazig Medical Waste Sterilization facilities.
Era Environmental Technologies, which started its activities with the Sterilization of Medical Wastes, has expanded its investment and service areas over time and carries out 'Solid Waste Management' and 'Energy Production from Waste' in the facilities it has established and operated in different cities of Turkey with the slogan of 'From Recycling to Energy'.
ERA Environmental Technologies established Sakarya Integrated Solid Waste Management Inc. (SEKAY) with the contract signed with Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality in 2017. SEKAY is Turkey's first Fully Integrated Zero Waste Project under the Build Operate Transfer (BOT) law. In this facility, which has an installed capacity of 14 MW and produces electricity from Landfill Gas and Biogas, the wastes are also separated in the Automatic Recycling Facility and recycled to the economy. Waste Derived Fuel Production (RDF), Compost and Organomineral Fertilizer Production is also carried out at the facility.
Era Environmental Technologies also recycles End of Life Tire (ÖTL) at its facility in Erzincan. ETL recycling is the process of separating end-of-life vehicle tires into their components by pyrolysis method and turning them into reusable raw materials. ETL recycling; It is of great importance in terms of both the protection of the environment and the recovery of valuable raw materials. The products produced as a result of ETL recovery are used as raw materials or renewable energy sources. ERA Environmental Technologies produces oil, gas and carbon black from waste tires with its patented 'Continuous Flow Pyrolysis' process. Electricity is produced in diesel engines with the produced pyrolytic oil. This facility in Erzincan is the first power plant in the world to use end-of-life tires as raw material. (Installed Power 12 MW). Carbon black, which is produced as a result of the pyrolysis process, is a valuable product that is used in many different sectors and that Turkey is the world's 5th largest importer. ERA Environmental Technologies has named this product 'Green Carbon Black'.It carries out its sales in various sectors in the market under the TM brand.
The electrical energy produced in Sakarya and Erzincan facilities is considered as renewable energy within the scope of YEKDEM in our country.
With its experience and expertise, ERA Environmental Technologies wishes to continue to act with the principle of taking part in new and prestigious projects that bring solutions to environmental problems in Turkey and internationally by working productively, efficiently and guidingly.
