Environment Service Cham AG is run in the legal form of a small stock corporation. The company's shareholders are Mr. Paul Obermeier, Cham with 25.5%, Ms. Rosina Meimer, Bad Kötzting with 25.5% and the district of Cham - Kreiswerke - with 49%. 

The UWC started its business on 01.01.1999 and is entered in the commercial register of the district court of Regensburg under the number 7208.

The object of the company is the disposal and recycling of all types of waste (collection, transport, treatment); Container service; Conception and organization of disposal routes and services resulting therefrom; Trading and marketing of secondary raw materials; Operation of a public weighing system.

The company is represented by the board of directors. The following was appointed to the board of UWC:  Mr. Michael Schmid .

Umweltservice Cham AG is advised and controlled by a six- member supervisory board . Members of the supervisory board are:

Umweltservice Cham AG is a medium-sized waste management company. From a pure sorting company, the company has meanwhile developed into a comprehensive provider of various disposal services.

There are currently over 25 employees in various functions at Umweltservice Cham AG.

Together with the former employees of Wertstoffentsorgungs-GmbH Cham and former employees of the district works Cham, the entry into the modern recycling economy was made possible.
