The ever-increasing public awareness of the environment and the measures taken by the legislature have led to a variety of initiatives to deal with problematic waste streams. One such waste stream is used brake fluids. The total number of vehicles within the EU member states is estimated at approximately 205 million (as of 2002). Taken together, these vehicles produce several million liters of used brake fluid each year, which is disposed of in a wide variety of ways.
Waste management company
When ENTEK was founded, separate collection and recycling were largely unknown fantasy words. Liquid waste was all collected in a vessel and then disposed of.
The rethinking required a lot of persuasion not only from the sources, but also from the responsible authorities. Over time, ENTEK has always adapted to the market, but has nevertheless remained true to the basic principles - the advantage for the customer of having ENTEK disposed of, and a constant search for improvements to further relieve our environment. Where in the past the collection points themselves commissioned their disposal companies, in many cases a disposal concept has been implemented in this place. Specifically, for ENTEK this means that the pick-up orders nowadays come less often from the direct collection point, but rather from waste disposal companies.
