Energy Fuels’ uranium production portfolio is truly unique in the World today. Nuclear energy is expected to see strong growth in the coming years as nations around the World work to provide plentiful and affordable energy, while also combating global climate change and air pollution. Energy Fuels utilizes both conventional and in-situ recovery (“ISR”) technology to produce uranium from three strategic facilities – the White Mesa Mill in Utah (conventional), the Nichols Ranch Plant in Wyoming (ISR), and the Alta Mesa Plant in Texas (ISR). Our portfolio also boasts an industry-leading US NI 43-101 Mineral Resource portfolio and a pipeline of high-quality, large-scale development and exploration projects. As uranium prices increase, Energy Fuels has the resources and processing capacity to significantly increase uranium production in the US.
Beyond Uranium
Energy Fuels is also the largest conventional producer of vanadium in the US. We have significant high-grade vanadium resources in several of our mines, along with a separate, high-purity vanadium production circuit at the White Mesa Mill. Vanadium is mainly used in the steel, aerospace, and chemical industries. And, vanadium is seeing considerable interest in next generation batteries that store energy generated from renewable sources.
