Establishing energenta recycling solutions gmbh was the logical next step for the energenta Group to further deepen its plastics-recycling activities. Backed by our experience of trading and processing recyclable mixed plastics plus our market knowledge, we invested in state-of-the art separation technology.

As a result, we are now able to extract clean, virtually pure plastics from the mixed materials we receive. These are in demand among compounders and producers around the world, who use them as eco-friendly and economical production cycle inputs.

Efficient plastics recycling is not just the order of the day from an environmental perspective: it is also an economic necessity. Recycling plastics enables us to reduce consumption of mineral oil – a resource which is becoming increasingly scarce – and relieve pressure on the environment because we separate recoverable plastics from WEEE recycling and mixed plastics from other post-consumer waste to generate pure input stock for production cycles. This improves the sustainability footprint of the electrical appliances industry and other sectors as well as conserving the resources they need for manufacturing. That is what we call the energenta principle: Nothing gets lost.

Plastics are valuable resources. We treat them as such.

We mainly recover ABS, PES and PE-PP plastics from the recycled WEEE material we receive. Once these plastics have passed through the various separation processes, such as our sink-float system and electrostatic separation, they are both extremely clean and virtually pure. This makes them perfect for manufacturing new products or producing compounds.

Superior-quality regrind.

We source our plastics from the recycling of waste electrical equipment, from the processing of mixed plastics and from production scrap. The resulting plastic components are crushed to reduce their volume before they are transported to us. When we check incoming materials, we then decide how to proceed with what we have received: Will it be supplied to one of our clients for compounding immediately after grinding? Or will we use our machinery to sort it further and create the purest possible stock? We make these decisions with a clear ethos in mind: Nothing gets lost.
