How Solar Works

Solar is a simple way for homes and bulidings to generate their own power.

Here's how solar works:

1. Sunlight hits the solar panels and releases electrons that generate an electrical current. 

2. The electrical current is sent to an inverter, which converts the DC (direct current) electricity into AC (alternating current) 
that can be used in the building.

3. Excess energy is sent back to the utility, and builds a solar credit bank. 

4. Solar credits can be used at night and during inclement weather.
