Founded in 2006, Emerald Steel Inc. fabricates, installs and supplies structural and miscellaneous steel for residential and commercial construction projects throughout the San Francisco, Bay Area. Our specialty is seismic retrofit projects—we take on the toughest, most complex jobs and have the expertise and resources to handle any project.We also work closely with general contractors on a range of Design-Build projects, with an emphasis on custom, high-end homes. Our Process

• Every successful project starts with a good design. Our detailers provide extensive shop drawings to ensure that every connection and attachment strictly follows code.
• Once shop drawings are approved, our shop fabricates the steel to exact specifications.
• Emerald Steel has a full time Quality Control (QC) person in the shop who inspects and checks the material during the fabrication process to ensure it is ready for installation in the field without error.
• We’re deeply invested in ensuring every project is installed with the highest accuracy and precision. Our team doesn’t leave until the final inspection and approval.
