Founded in 1980 by Ed Bittner as a custom gear representative in the Midwest, EM Bittner, Inc. now serves various industries from small to Fortune 500 companies shipping throughout the US, Canada, Mexico and Europe with an array of carbon and graphite bearing materials through it's manufacturing, processing and warehousing locations throughout the US focusing on US based materials, not imported.
The Carbon bearing materials include Natural (flake, vein & amorphous), Purified, Expanded and Synthetic Graphites, Carbons, Charcoal and Carbon Black. We are utilizing processes of Screening, Milling and Blending to make our unique products or to our customer's specified requirements.
Applications of our materials are numerous and include Charge, Trim and Furnace Metal Cover applications for the Mill and Foundry industries, both Ferrous and Nonferrous. Additives in Formulations for numerous industries such as Lubricants, Plastics, Rubbers, Friction and Drilling.
Additionally we offer cost-saving Re-machined Arc Furnace Electrodes, Charcoal, and Machined Graphite parts for melting and other general industrial applications as well as Ceramic and Graphite Plates to the Powdered Metal Industry.
Our recycling initiative offers recycling for spent carbon/graphite powders and various used and new shapes, as well as EDM & Arc Furnace Electrodes to help achieve corporate or personal Recycling Initiatives with a charitable benefit.
