Clifford D. Jolly
President
Cliff has been the President of ELS Technology, Inc. since its inception in 1993. Cliff’s primary areas of expertise are in market analysis, process economics, asset valuation, technology management, chemical process development, heterogeneous catalysis, advanced water treatment, occupational safety and scientific instrumentation, product design and environmental chemistry. He has developed the financing packages then initiated and led the innovation and commercialization of six technologies that were developed under combined public and private funding, inclusive of manufacturing and marketing. Cliff has previously held positions as an energy program manager for a Fortune 500 science & technology company, a research scientist and business development manager for an aerospace firm, a collegiate and high school baseball coach for 6 years, a research scientist at a major university biomedical laboratory, and as a transaction control manager at a retail bank.
Cliff’s current interests are in clean chemical process development, Sustainable Cities of the Future, energy strategy including hybrid energy systems, retail innovation, international trade theory and practicum, and the global political/business interface. He has conducted extensive on-site research on the effects of globalization on industries and firms, particularly with respect to organizational management and positioning techniques to achieve optimization of system-wide variances in order to maximize profitability in global operations.
Cliff has worked & conducted research in over 30 countries. He holds an MBA in Global Management from Georgetown University Schools of Business and Foreign Service in Washington, DC, and an MBA from ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Arizona State University in Tempe, and has completed the Private Equity Program at the London Business School. Cliff holds six (6) US Patents and is the author of over forty (40) refereed technical publications and reports. He has received five (5) NASA Certificates of Recognition for space flight and commercial technology developments, a NASA Space Act Award, and was NASA “Inventor of the Year” in 1994.
Ladislav Jezek

Ladislav has 20+ years engineering & technology management experience, including management of design and development of microprocessor control systems for automated production equipment (hardware, firmware) on many common microprocessor and microcontroller platforms, ISA and VME bus, complex PLDs, serial communication, A/D converters. He also has 15 years experience in analog design, expertise in high speed and high frequency circuits, servo control with phase locked loop, feedback loop stability, high voltage power supplies, SPICE/MICROCAP simulation; 10+ years experience in software design: C, C++, Assembly language; Real time programming, interrupts handlers; servosystems, digital feedback loops and their frequency compensation, phase lock loop, digital motor control, calibration sub-routines, data acquisition, and embedded controller programming and Embedded Controller Development for Portable Instrumentation.

ELS Technology was incorporated in December 1993 and is primarily engaged in design, engineering, and production of commercial water and air treatment and monitoring systems and components, automated instrumentation for industrial applications, process consulting, and commercial analytical & test instrument manufacturing. The company utilizes a fully approved cost accounting system that meets DCAA and other government requirements.
The company operates a 3,500 sq. ft. laboratory, short-run manufacturing facility, and prototype machine shop. The company’s current facilities include a ten position catalyst dynamic column test stand, chemical vapor deposition apparatus, materials processing equipment including two high temperature furnaces and extrusion equipment, PAR electrochemical and electrolytic treatment and surface analysis equipment, a biocatalytic reactor, numerous ozone generators, UV equipment, RO/UF treatment hardware (4×40″ stainless), process instrumentation for dissolved oxygen, pH and conductivity, a Varian 3400 Gas Chromatograph, an OI Model 700 TOC Analyzer, a DR4000 Scanning UV/VIS Spectrophotometer, a PAR Model 384B Polarographic Analyzer, a Princeton Applied Research Model 173 Voltammetric analyzer, a Princeton Applied Research Model 179 Coulometer, PAR Model 175 Universal Programmer, ion-selective electrode-based monitoring equipment, pumps, Programmable Logic Controllers, data acquisition equipment, standard instrumental analysis laboratory equipment, fume hoods & glove boxes for handling small-quantity hazardous materials, a Hobart 175 Amp Mig Welder, drill presses, saws, a milling machine, lathe, and other machine tools.
The company also has a complete electronics design and manufacture station, including analog and digital hardware development stations, a software development station (C++, C#, C, VBasic and Forth), a PROM-burning station, and a component packaging/assembly area.
All company facilities conform to local, State of Colorado, and Federal regulations with regard to waterborne effluents, airborne emissions, external radiation levels, outdoor noise, waste disposal practices, and handling and storage of toxic and hazardous materials.
