In general, the collected waste electrical and electronic equipment after sorting in accordance with the List of types of waste (Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova No. 100/05) is only subjected to treatment, which implies its disassembly and then handed over to licensed recyclers. Part of the equipment that contains dangerous chemicals (eg refrigerators, air conditioners, lamps) and for which there are no licensed companies in the country, as a complete device/product is taken out of the country and handed over to licensed operators. At the moment, only a small part of the waste equipment is returned as raw material back to the production process in our country.
