The Board works with senior management to develop strategic plans, establish long-term goals and monitor progress in achieving Eldorado’s corporate strategy.Eldorado’s Board provides senior management with independent, objective advice. A majority of the Directors are independent as defined by corporate governance standards developed by the Canadian Securities Administrators and the New York Stock Exchange. An independent director does not have a direct or indirect material relationship with Eldorado that could interfere with their ability to offer objective judgement.
