Our Company history

The beginnings of the EGGERS group go back over a century.

In 1907 Karl-Gustav Adolf Eggers laid the foundation stone with a haulage company. After the Second World War, the company actively supports the reconstruction of the hard-hit Hanseatic city of Hamburg. From the 1970s, EGGERS also carried out road construction projects. Major projects such as the refurbishment of the Georgswerder landfill follow. In 1991, Ralf and Stefan Eggers were the fourth generation to take on responsibility for the growing family company. Today, the group of companies can look back on a broad portfolio: civil engineering, environmental technology, ordnance recovery, a container service, TerraCon, its own gravel and sand pits, a recycling area and demolition services.
