eGauge is an affordable, flexible, secure, web-based electric energy and power meter that can measure up to 12 circuits on up to 3-phases (120V−480V, 50−60Hz). Use it to measure and record total building electrical consumption, solar, wind, consumption of individual circuits, such as appliances or geothermal system pumps, and motors. eGauge is best suited to provide:
eGauge has participated with schools on the Colorado front range in the ReNew Our Schools energy education and conservation competition. The competition, which is administered by the Center for ReSource Conservation, helps students and faculty learn about energy usage and save energy. eGauge helped facilitate the installation of the devices to the schools, which allowed participants to see real-time energy consumption. Students and teachers were able to view data online from anywhere, including from home. This access to data resulted in a reduction of $7,800 on energy bills during the first month of the competition.
“The real-time data provided by eGauges brought great educational opportunities into all participating schools and provided the district with immediate and ongoing tools for measuring and evaluating their efficiency updates and changes.” - CRC eGauge White Paper
"Furthermore, the data from the eGauges was used by the energy management personnel to investigate no-cost operational changes that are projected to save the district $50,000-$200,000 annually." - CRC eGauge White Paper
eGauge devices continue to be installed in local schools, and eGauge looks forward to seeing the results from this year's competition.
eGauge is an affordable, flexible, secure, web-based electric energy and power meter that can measure up to 12 circuits on up to 3-phases (120V−480V, 50−60Hz). Use eGauge to measure and record total building electrical consumption, solar, wind and other renewable electricity generation, and consumption of individual circuits, such as appliances, geothermal pumps, motors, electric vehicle charging and backup heaters. The data can be viewed on any web-enabled device through the built-in web-server. The display is updated every second, giving immediate feedback on any load or generation changes. The device records the most recent 30 years of data in its built-in solid-state memory.
eGuard Manager is an administrative management system for eGauge devices that allows an individual or company to monitor and manage multiple eGauge systems from a single, web-based interface. eGuard Manager displays the current status and statistics for all devices within a user’s account. With the proper configuration, eGuard can send alerts pertaining to abnormal/unexpected measurements, functionality, and connectivity of a particular installation. eGuard Manager allows installers to associate site-specific information, such as installation or configuration details, with a specific eGauge unit. There is no cost to create or maintain an eGuard account.
