Joshua Mangia

End of the 19th century

At the end of the 19th century, Giosuè Mangia was the first to understand the need to recover used vegetable oils and fats and created a family business that is now consolidated.

Pietro Mangia

1930

Giosuè's son, Pietro Mangia, continues his father's business: he recovers animal fats, to melt them and sell them to soap factories, for the creation of bath and laundry soaps.

PETERGRASS

1954

In 1954, the Mangia brothers founded Petergrass, united by a growing passion for environmental protection and the desire to grow and consolidate the know-how acquired.

PARTHENOGRASS

1989

In 1989 Salvatore Mangia founded Partenograss, which considerably expanded the family business, obtaining further authorizations and increasing the fleet of vehicles and the number of customers.

LEM, Mangia Ecological Line

1996

The brothers Pietro and Mario Mangia created LEM, with which the family business extended to Campania and Lazio.

ANTONIO EATS

2005

Antonio Mangia, the younger brother of Pietro and Mario, becomes part of the corporate structure. His professionalism and enthusiasm will bring new life to the family business.

LOGECO

2012

Logeco was born in 2012, a cutting-edge plant, based in Santa Maria Capua Vetere in the province of Caserta, for the recovery of non-hazardous waste: paper, cardboard, plastic and aluminium.

FERENTINO (Fr)

2013

In 2013, a new plant was inaugurated in Ferentino in the province of Frosinone for the transformation of animal by-products into fertilizer and pet food.

EAT GROUP

2017

The brothers Pietro, Mario and Antonio Mangia decide to join forces with the family businesses. They thus formalize the birth of the Mangia Group, for the financial and administrative management of Lem, Logeco and Ecotirrena.

ALEXANDRIA

2018

The Mangia Industrial Group inaugurates a new Ecotirrena factory in Alessandria to guarantee the strategic presence of its services throughout the peninsula.

SARDINIA

2018

The Mangia Group expands its entrepreneurial activity in Sardinia, investing in the acquisition of shares and strengthening local companies.
