The company " EcoProm-Lipetsk " was founded in April 2004 within the framework of the program " EcoProm-Regions " with the aim of effectively solving the sanitary and environmental problems of the city. The existing waste management system could not cope with the tasks and needed modernization. It was decided to radically change the technology of waste processing and disposal.

Taking into account the experience of European countries, a project was developed and the construction of a waste sorting and recycling plant was launched on the equipment of the Spanish company "Imabe Iberica" ​​with a capacity of 200 thousand tons per year.

For collection and transportation, special equipment of domestic and Western manufacturers was purchased.

The company and the selected waste management technology were recognized at the federal level.

" EcoProm-Lipetsk " won a prize at a national competition in the category "Best Enterprise of Housing and Communal Services." The implemented systematic approach to the processing of solid waste was recognized as one of the most effective.
